i would like to introduce Audrey Anne Kingshott. she was born thursday, may 22nd at 9:37am. she was born 8lbs. 7oz. & 20 1/2 inches long. enjoy!

let's go outside

at times it is still a bit cold here in michigan. we have been doing our best to take a lot of trips to the park, go for bike rides, and do some swimming at our health club. this is a picture of our first time out on a bike ride last month.

elli's birthday

ok, so it is a really late post, but here are some pics from elli's birthday which was march 16th. she asked for several weeks after her birthday if we could keep having her birthday. she must like all of the cake, presents, and singing the happy birthday song.

ketchup

ok, i know if have not updated in a while, so here is a post for Traci McKee. she is a friend of ours from Cornerstone. she put ketchup on just about everything. i know i gave her grief about it many times. elli was eating bread with butter on it the other day. she demanded that she have some "dippers" which is ketchup with her bread and butter. it reminded me of traci. check out the pics.

winter again - we can't get rid of it

so this is the type of thing that happens when you get stuck inside for extremely long periods of time. elli loves music and she loves to dance. she and i sometimes have dance parties to burn some energy. notice the hip shake and the rapper like hand motions (i taught her that)

winter is our friend - sometimes

this last wednesday we received a foot of snow, literally, in about 12 hours. courtney's drive to grand rapids has been stressful, but we have found some ways to enjoy the weather as well. i have been on several retreats in the last few weekends allowing for some snow tubing and skiing. elli is also had an opportunity to do some "boating" as she likes to call it. enjoy.

christmas

our christmas with elli was much more exciting this year. she was much better at opening presents and was so excited! it was a lot of fun seeing the excitement we sometimes loose when we become adults.

this year elli got to help make christmas cookies and she loved every moment of it! elli loves to help out in the kitchen her favorite was putting the sprinkles on.

thanksgiving

we spent some time in south carolina visiting my brother and his family. while we were there, we went to the aquarium. elli loved the huge fish tanks with tons of huge fish. we had a good trip and the weather was beautiful, 75 and sunny!
